A HISTORY OF FAMILY OF FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH
FFCC was born the first Sunday of May, 1960. Founding pastor Warren Way, his wife Nancy, and the Kocher family were the first members. The church was born as an independent, New Testament church, and soon became one of the first non- denominational, charismatic churches in the United States.
In 1972, FFCC was a congregation of 135 people. We purchased our first property at 69 King Avenue. Through love, fellowship, healing ministry, and leadership in the Charismatic Revival, our church continued to grow at King Avenue. By 1989, our church was 500 people strong, and we were ready to move to our newly remodeled facility at 975 Mt. Vernon Road.
Associate Pastor Curt Martin became the Senior Pastor in January of 1991. Pastor Martin is a 1982 graduate of RHEMA Bible Training Center and, through his influence, more than 60 members of FFCC have attend RBTC over the years. Pastor Martin continues to lead FFCC into her destiny as a revivalist church. FFCC is called to lead Licking County into the fulness of the revival ministry of Jesus.
FFCC is spiritually connected to the great revival ministries of Kenneth Hagin, the Toronto Revival, the Brownsville Revival, and the Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry led by Bill Johnson. FFCC has opened our own NewArk School of Supernatural Ministry to raise up revivalists right here in Central Ohio.
Today, FFCC offers quality ministry to children of all ages, teens, young adults, and seniors. We worship the Lord with contemporary music and a dynamic choir. We offer healing ministry in all our services, but especially in our Renewal and Healing Meeting every Sunday evening. Pastor Martin teaches and preaches Godʼs Word of salvation, deliverance, healing, miracles, and prosperity. FFCC has loved our community since 1960 with the message of Jesus and the power of His Holy Spirit!
